We email client portal access instructions to the parent’s registered email address. Please complete the intake and consent forms in the portal before the evaluation. Call us if you need help accessing or completing them.

Plan for about 50 minutes to one hour. Your family will meet the therapist and any volunteers or helpers involved in supporting the visit or program.
The therapist explains what the evaluation involves and the purpose of the tests being used. You can ask questions as we go. You are welcome to watch the assessment or wait in the waiting area, whichever feels right for your family.
We work to make your child as comfortable as possible. Playful interaction helps them stay engaged as the therapist guides them through assessment activities and observes their skills. We adapt how we engage your child while following the requirements of the tests being used.
We discuss your concerns and use the evaluation findings to set goals connected to everyday life, such as getting dressed, joining play or participating at mealtimes.
Our therapy is child-led and guided by the goals established at the evaluation. Your child’s interests help shape the play and activities we use to work toward those goals.
At each visit, the therapist considers your child’s sensory needs and how they are doing that day. We adjust activities and the environment to support engagement and participation. For a child working on feeding, this may include opportunities to explore foods they tend to avoid, at a pace suited to their needs.
Explore our approach to therapyWe discuss your child’s progress after each session and how the activities connect with daily routines. We also review progress at the six-month and one-year marks through reevaluation and progress notes.
Your observations help us understand how things are going beyond the clinic and which goals continue to matter most to your family.
